What Is The Best Kind Of Fax To Use When You Are Running A Website Business?

Are the all-in-one fax/ printers/ scanners which use a pc modem to accept faxes any good? Are users of these happy with them?
The cheaper allinones are inkjet, do these still function ok? Or should I pay the extra money and get a laser printer all in one?
My computer will be online for more than 12 hours a day.Are the faxes that use a direct telephone line better? I need an answering machine as well. I want to send good quality faxes.

You can search reviews.cnet.com to find the perfect fax to meet your needs

The all in one models work just as well as dedicated fax machines. You will want to have a separate phone line for the fax machine. If people cannot get into your fax for 12 hrs a day – then they are not going to retry for if and when the line is clear.
The problem with PC modem/faxes is that you have to have the computer up and runnning all the time. Otherwise the modem will not connect etc.
Inkjet vs Laser — it really comes down to speed and replacement cost. Inkjets are typically cheaper initially, but the ink costs are high. Laser are usually faster, but if the business is small – why the rush? I’d get a inkjet for now, and if you need to upgrade later – then do so.
Answering machine? Jeez most people use a telephone based voicemail system nowadays. No clunky machine to deal with, its all handled by the phone company.
