We bought magic jack and I was curious if you could connect a fax machine to it. And if you can, how? I’m complete stumped on this ancient technology. Thank you.
I don’t want to add another phone-jack if I can help it. My fax machine has a USB connection free…the phone system is a Panasonic 6.0 system. Is there a USB converter of something?
I need to receive a fax, so I have to unplug the DSL from the modem and route it through the fax/printer. Now I do not have internet connection and the DSL light blinks red? What other line, etc. do I need to have both fax and internet capability at the same time? No smart a** remarks, if I knew the answer I wouldn’t be asking.
I have a network multifunction device (printer, fax, copier) in one room, and my cable modem/wireless router in the another. If I buy a wireless access point and connect it to the multifunction device, will I be able to use the multifunction device on the network? Or is there a better way to do this, without running cables between the rooms (not possible)?
Thanks for your help.
As is fairly common these days, I do not have a land line. However, sometimes I need to fax stuff, and going across town to my parents house just to fax something is a waste of time, not to mention gas! I can’t find any accessories on the sprint website. Does anyone know if this is even possible?
I have a combined printer, scanner, copier and fax machine but only one phone line. I have been told that I can run the fax line through the modem of the computer to send and receive faxes. Does anyone know who to do this, what cables/connections do I need and how does it work?
The machine is an Epsom and we are on Virgin broadband.
Thanks in advance.
I need help on how to connect a projector to a laptop before I loose my job
does every printer have a different usb cable, or is there a cable that will fit most, cus i want to buy a used printer and people dont include the cable and its driving me crazy trying to figure out what type of cable i should get, becus i dont know if its a normal usb to usb cable or a usb to little usb cable, please help, please
My projector has the typical video inputs; VGA, RCA Video, S-Video, and something called a RS232 control port. I figure I could use the RCA video with the Cable TV box. I could pair the VGA with my desktop or laptop, and the S-video with the HDdvd player.
I was wondering if I could connect all these components to a transceiver and send them wirelessly, with the same quality, to a reciever and then to my projector?
