Dot-matrix Printer: – This printer is some how like typewriting. They create characters by striking pins against an ink ribbon. Each pin makes a dot, and combinations of dots form characters and illustrations. The printing involves mechanical pressure, so these printers can create carbon copies and carbonless copies as well.

Thermal Printer: – Thermal printer is an inexpensive printer that works by pushing heated pins against heat-sensitive paper. Thermal printers are generally used in calculators and fax machines. Thermal printers print faster and more quietly than dot matrix printers. They are also more economical since their only consumable is the paper itself.

is there any way……., i want to move my wireless network(modem and router) to my room, but it’s connected to my fax and I need that so is there anyway that I can connect it to my computer.

I need to have fax capability, I have the one single phone line and we run wireless to our laptops., So what do I need to do to be able to fax from the wireless laptop?

I am unable to get dial-up or broadband connection where I live, so I am forced to use an air card with a cell phone connection. Is there a FAX program out there that I can download onto my computer that can connect using my PC card, where I can send and receive faxes through my air card? rather than a hardwired connection?

I have this problem that my computer won’t start when my fax machine’s USB cable is plugged in. I will turn on my computer and the screen will remain black with a small white line in the upper corner blinking.
The only way my computer will work is if I unplug the fax machine’s USB cable.
Can anyone tell me what is happening?
