How To Make Answering Machine Work When Its Connected To The Fax Machine?
my phone line is connected like this
wall –> voip –> phone –> fax
now i only have one phone number for both the phone and the fax
so when someone calls, it rings 6 times, then it goes to the fax instead of going to the answering machine
is there a way i can fix this?
Set the fax to answer after more rings or not at all or the answerer for less rings.
Better yet, just turn the Fax machine off unless you want to send/receive faxes.
