		<description>No, you can&#039;t assume that the fax number is the same as the phone number. Many companies (especially large ones) have seperate lines for fax or phone. If they do have fax/phone on the same line, you may have to call and let them know you&#039;re sending a fax so they&#039;re prepared for it. Most companies don&#039;t employ this practice, though, as it&#039;s inconvenient and time-consuming. Call and say &quot;Hi, could you tell me your fax number, please?&quot; and that&#039;s all ya have to say. Unless, of course, they ask why, and then you just tell them you would like to send a resume/application. They may not have a fax, too, in which case you may want to email your application/resume, or, better yet, deliver it in person. Companies like those initiated types. ;)</description>
